Our story began during out first years at Hesston College. With both of us majoring in aviation and attending the same classes and events, we got to know each other very early on in the school year. Within the first week of class we found ourselves spending a great amount of time together whether it be studying with friends, Walmart runs, or late night talks where we found much in common. We quickly grew close and had our first official date on September 10, 2021. From there on out we were inseparable. We both enjoyed going on walks, attending church together, and back seating each other's flights.

The past three years have been nothing but excitement and adventure for the both of us. We have enjoyed traveling together to visit each other’s family in Honduras, Michigan, and Nebraska and sharing in each others traditions and lifestyle. We found ourselves often introducing each other to new foods, such as baleadas, runzas, sushi, and pupusas, and our days filled with many, many cups of coffee :) When we weren’t studying or flight training, you could find us enjoying aviation museums, attending air shows, or simply drinking coffee - of course!

Pablo popped the question in a surprise proposal on July 5th 2024 - during a beautiful sunrise over the ocean in the Bahamas. It couldn’t have been more perfect and was a wonderful way to start off our senior year of college. As we finish up our final year, we look forward to the future and still fly together whenever possible. We will graduate from the Hesston College Aviation program in May 2025, one week before our wedding, and couldn’t be more excited to spend the rest of our days together!
